Why AnnexCREATE exists
Anyone who designs knows the moment: the software is paid for, the license was “perpetual” — and then the activation server is shut down and the old files no longer open. AnnexCREATE is the answer to that.
Documents live as files on your Mac, in the open, documented .axd container. No forced cloud, no account, no sync as a precondition.
Your license is a signed file. The apps check it against embedded public keys — not a single byte reaches us during activation.
SwiftUI and AppKit, Apple HIG, a Rust core for the heavy lifting. No Electron, no web view in a window frame.
Every app shares interaction logic, colors, brandkits, asset library and clipboard. What you learn in one app applies to the other nine.
Ten elements, one system
Each app covers one discipline and talks to all the others. The capabilities listed here are built and reachable in the interface — the full lists are in the documentation.
01The front door of the suite: install and update apps, activate licenses, maintain assets and brandkits, manage teams and shared project directories. Sixteen areas in six groups — plus a mini hub in the menu bar. AnnexHub is free.
02Vector graphics with layers and Bézier paths, plus a second persona for painting and erasing. From draft through style templates, symbols and patterns to print-ready export — interlocked with brandkits and the asset library.
03Layer-based image editing with non-destructive adjustments, masks and selection tools. Cut-out and object removal run on local AI models — on your Mac, not in someone else’s data centre.
04Typesetting and layout for print and web: linked text frames, spreads with gutter, imposition with crop marks on every up. The same setting goes to the print shop as PDF and onto the web as HTML — including WCAG contrast checking.
05For websites and small web projects: syntax editor with WYSIWYG preview, components to drop in, local development server, integrated terminal — and an FTP sync that writes to your own webspace on save.
06Clients, projects, tasks, time and invoices in one place — with staged dunning, recurring invoices, e-invoicing (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD/Factur-X) and DATEV export. Plus a full PIM over open standards: mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes.
07Editing, keyframe animation, titles, audio and color in one document, without a detour into a second app. Preview and export run through the same Metal compositor: what you see is what gets exported.
08Writing without a ribbon superstructure: outline, editor and inspector in one window. With footnotes, table of contents, spelling and grammar checking, fifteen correspondence templates and export to DOCX, ODT and PDF.
09A cell grid with a formula engine, multiple sheets and cross-sheet references — made for budgets, quotes and evaluations. Charts come from the selected range, PDF export is tagged.
10The PDF workplace: read, annotate, sort pages, edit content, build and fill forms, redact, protect and convert. A virtual printer “Open in AnnexPDF” takes print jobs from any other app.

AnnexPDF belongs to both specialist bundles — it is the link between office and creative work. AnnexHub needs no licence. The terms and licence conditions apply.
The beta is free of charge. It is provided without warranty and without liability for defects, except for defects fraudulently concealed (§ 524 BGB). We are liable only for intent and gross negligence (§ 521 BGB), for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. Beta software may contain errors — back up your data.
What all ten share
The value appears between the apps: the same document format, the same assets, the same brand specifications, the same clipboard.
The open .axd format carries content, versions, preview image and document information. Every app reads it, a central index finds it again.
Brand colors, fonts, formats and assets as a portable kit — including harmonic color derivations. Maintained once, available in every app.
Images, logos, templates and color palettes are available across apps, with search and drag & drop between windows.
Objects move between apps without turning into pixels on the way — a vector group stays a vector group.
Every app can be driven by AI agents through an MCP host: open, create and edit documents, search assets. Started locally from AnnexHub.
A plugin is a description, not a foreign program: signature before evaluation, permissions before execution, management in AnnexHub.
German, English, Spanish, French and Italian — with automatic detection and a switch in the settings.
Documents, logs and previews stay on the Mac. Telemetry only happens after explicit consent — it is off by default.

If our license server one day no longer exists, your software keeps running. That is not a footnote, it is a technical property — and you can verify it yourself.

The beta is free and downloads straight away — no sign-up, no waiting list. If you want to tell us what works and what does not, leave your address here; that part is optional. No subscription, offline-first, your data stays on your Mac. There are three ways to get AnnexOffice: as part of an AnnexGroup server licence, in the Office bundle or Complete bundle — or in this beta.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Until you confirm, we store the address only provisionally and delete it after seven days. We write to you about new beta versions and ask for your feedback — nothing else. More in the privacy policy.

No. The beta is free, with no subscription and no trial period. Recurring offers such as a plugin or asset store would always be separate contracts and never unlock features in an app.
Your installed apps keep running and your license file keeps activating — verification never depended on the server. The verification tool is published so you do not have to believe it, you can check it.
No. An account with us is a mailbox where you can find your keys again — never a condition of use. You can delete it at any time; your licenses stay valid.
Yes. Licenses are user-based and transferable within a team. AnnexHub manages members, roles, shared project directories and the common asset library.
The apps write their own .axd container format and export to the usual interchange formats — PDF, DOCX, ODT, HTML, common image and video formats. The container is documented so you can still reach your content in ten years.
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later is required. The apps are built natively and optimised for Apple Silicon.
