Withdrawal policy

For consumers purchasing AnnexCREATE licences at a distance (Sections 312g and 355 of the German Civil Code, BGB).

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also declare your withdrawal using our withdrawal function: the “Withdraw from contract” button at the bottom of every page of annexcreate.com. We will confirm receipt to you by e-mail without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content

For contracts for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (software licence keys, provision for download), the right of withdrawal expires under Section 356(5) BGB once we have begun performance of the contract after you have

• expressly consented to our beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
• acknowledged that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun.

We obtain both during checkout, before the licence key is delivered: the purchase can only be completed after you have expressly consented to immediate performance and confirmed the loss of the right of withdrawal. Your consent is stored with the purchase.

Note for businesses

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers (Section 13 BGB). Businesses (Section 14 BGB) have no statutory right of withdrawal.
